Families want dental care that fits their child, not a one-size-fits-all visit. At Izzy’s Kidz Dentistry, we combine prevention, treatment, comfort, and clear parent communication to support children through different stages of dental development.
We adjust communication and treatment to your child’s age, comfort level, and ability to manage the dental visit.
Regular exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and home-care guidance help protect baby and permanent teeth from cavities.
Our pediatric dental services include fillings, crowns, pulp treatment, emergency care, and other treatments for damaged or decayed teeth.
Children with dental anxiety, sensory sensitivities, special healthcare needs, or more involved treatment may benefit from additional support and sedation options when appropriate.
Children can need very different types of dental care as their teeth develop. Our pediatric services address prevention, tooth decay, dental injuries, comfort during treatment, and other common childhood dental needs.
Preventive dental care includes exams, professional cleanings, dental X-rays when needed, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants. These visits help us watch developing teeth, identify early signs of decay, and guide parents on brushing, flossing, and cavity prevention at home.
When a baby or permanent tooth is affected by decay or damage, treatment may be needed to restore and protect it. Depending on the tooth and the extent of the problem, care may include tooth-colored fillings, stainless steel crowns, cosmetic white crowns, pulp treatment, extractions, or space maintainers.
Our pediatric dental services include fillings, crowns, pulp treatment, emergency care, and other treatments for damaged or decayed teeth.
Dental anxiety, young age, difficulty staying comfortable, or extensive treatment can make some appointments challenging. Sedation options may include nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, IV sedation, or general anesthesia when appropriate for the child and procedure.
A restrictive lip or tongue frenum can sometimes affect feeding, oral movement, or other functions. We evaluate the area carefully and determine whether a pediatric frenectomy may be appropriate based on your child’s individual needs.
Dr. Izzy earned his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where he later served as Chief Resident. His training focused on children’s oral health, development, behavior, and dental treatment, including care for children who may require sedation or general anesthesia.
He takes time to understand the reason for each visit before discussing treatment with parents. Whether your child needs an early dental exam, cavity treatment, care for an injured tooth, or additional support during a procedure, the goal is to provide clear guidance based on their dental and comfort needs.

From scheduling to leaving our visit, every step felt kind, professional, and tailored to my child specifically. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant and the dentist and his wife helped my daughter feel very much a part of the experience. I also learned a few tips that we did not to help at home for her dental hygiene! After having found them, we will go no where else!

A child’s first dental visit is generally recommended when the first tooth appears or by the first birthday. Early visits allow the dentist to check developing teeth and give parents guidance on brushing, feeding habits, and cavity prevention.
Yes. We work with children who feel nervous or unsure about dental visits. Communication, pacing, and comfort strategies can be adjusted based on the child, and sedation may be considered when additional support is needed.
Yes. Sedation options may include nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, IV sedation, or general anesthesia when appropriate. The recommendation depends on your child’s medical history, comfort level, treatment needs, and the procedure being completed.
Contact the dental office if your child has severe tooth pain, swelling, an infection, a broken or knocked-out tooth, or an injury to the mouth. The appropriate response depends on the symptoms and whether a baby or permanent tooth has been affected.
