At Izzy’s Kidz Dentistry, we provide pediatric dental care designed around the way children grow, communicate, and experience the dentist. From early dental visits through the teen years, our team considers each child’s dental development, comfort level, and individual needs.
Parents are included at every step. We explain our findings clearly, answer questions, and help families understand their child’s care. Our Pompano Beach office offers preventive, restorative, emergency, sedation, special needs, frenectomy, and laser dental services in a welcoming setting created for children.
Dr. Izzy was born and raised in New York before moving to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. While attending dental school, he met his wife, Brittany. Together, they enjoy life in South Florida with their doodle, Jackson.
After earning his dental degree, Dr. Izzy completed a postgraduate residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. His training included comprehensive dental care for infants, children, adolescents, children with special healthcare needs, and medically complex patients. He also served as Chief Resident.
During his residency he received extensive training in oral conscious sedation and participated in operating room cases involving general anesthesia. He continues to expand his knowledge through continuing education and stays informed about advances in pediatric dental care.
Dr. Izzy is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association. He is also certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
He believes every child deserves to feel heard, respected, and comfortable during dental visits. His friendly and easygoing approach helps him connect with children, while clear communication keeps parents informed about their child’s oral health and treatment needs.
Outside the office, Dr. Izzy enjoys spending time with Brittany and their Florida family. They love boating, camping, spending time outdoors, and skiing during the winter.
